What we don't collect directly

We do not run our own analytics software, do not have user accounts, sign-up forms, or a login system, and do not store the numbers you type into our calculators — those are processed entirely in your own browser.

Cookies and third-party advertising

This site shows advertising and sponsored product links from the services below. A cookie banner appears the first time you visit — nothing in this section is set until you click "Accept". If you click "Reject", none of these cookies are set, and every calculator still works exactly the same.

• Google AdSense — serves adverts and may use cookies to personalise them and measure performance. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Amazon Associates — sponsored links to Amazon use an affiliate tracking parameter so we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you.
• AliExpress Affiliate Program — the same principle as above, via AliExpress's own affiliate tracking.
• Awin — an affiliate network used to serve additional partner offers, which uses its own tracking cookie to attribute referrals.

None of these networks are used to serve or promote financial products, mortgage lenders, or tax filing services on this site.

What is stored locally on your device

Separately from the advertising cookies above, two features always store a small amount of information locally on your own device, regardless of your cookie choice, because they're set as a direct result of an action you take rather than for tracking or advertising:

• Dark mode preference — remembers whether you last chose light or dark mode.
• Saved calculations — if you use "Save this calculation" on the Salary Calculator, the figures are saved locally so they appear on your Dashboard next time you visit, on that same device and browser.

This local storage is not sent to any server with each page request, and we have no access to it. Clearing your browser's site data, using a different browser, or switching devices will remove it.

Server logs

Our web host (Hostinger) may collect standard technical server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) as part of normal web hosting operation, for security and reliability purposes. We do not access, analyse, or use these logs for marketing or profiling.

Your rights and choices

You can withdraw or change your cookie choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for MoneyZio.com, which resets the consent banner. For any other request relating to how this site handles information — including UK GDPR data subject rights — contact us at help@moneyzio.com.

Changes to this policy

If the advertising or affiliate services we use change, we will update this policy to reflect that.
