How MoneyZio Makes Money

MoneyZio is free to use, with no account required for any calculator. Running the site costs money, so it's funded through two things:

Advertising

MoneyZio shows Google-served advertising (Google AdSense) on some pages. This only loads after you accept cookies via the banner — if you decline, no advertising loads, and every calculator still works exactly the same either way.

Affiliate commissions

Some pages show sponsored product links (Amazon, Awin, AliExpress). If you click one and buy something, MoneyZio may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. These only appear where we judged there was a genuinely relevant reason to show them — see Affiliate Disclosure for the full picture.

What this doesn't do

Commercial relationships do not determine MoneyZio calculator results. Whether a page carries advertising or an affiliate link has no bearing on the Income Tax, National Insurance, mortgage estimate, or any other figure a calculator produces. Those numbers come entirely from HMRC/GOV.UK's published rates via our central tax configuration — see How Our Calculators Work.
